Kosmo Posted December 9, 2005 Author Report Posted December 9, 2005 they imported Europeans to find out what freedom really meant Americans are actually from countries all over europe, mostly. I'm not talking about native Americans fyi. To a what degree? The people who found USA were European, but surely they became American after a generation or two. Or do you consider ALL humans as African.
⌐■_■ Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 African? That does certainly does not make any sense to me dude. There were Sem (Semites), Cham (the blackies) and Jafeth (Whities). Their father was Abraham, who probably lived somewere near Persia, wich would make him most likely a Semite (but they didn't excist yet, at that moment, as you will understand). So why African? I think people are using the same hatetactics against America as they did against the jews, and still do. Making somebody a 'group' and thus isolating them from the rest (of the...) makes it easier to generalize. 'The Amercians invaded another country' Or: 'The Americans are helping out The Jews again'. Ontopic again: I don't know who Olof Palme was.

Please tell me you're not using the Bible to describe the decemination of the races across the world. He mentioned Africa because most of the oldest hominid skeletons come from there and then spread outwards to all corners of the globe. It's most likely where we're all from ancesterally.

Ontopic again: I don't know who Olof Palme was. Oh my god, can anyone be this ignorant? There are several theories where the modern man came from and one of the strongest is that man came from Africa, you know, the continent. And how Abraham has anything to do with anything I can't really tell, and if he even actually existed, was he one of those 400-600 year old people from the bible? And what is this hate thing now? How did I use hatetactics? And I mostly use correct naming of groups, and here when I was not using any particular country as an example but a general group of people living in a continent, I used the term American. But when USA attacks some country I can't use term American since Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina or any other American country had nothing to do with it. And lastly FYI, Olof Palme is kinda like something of Scandinavian JFK mystery.
kleinluka Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 I think it's publically known that "American" is a valid term to describe a citizen of the United States of America. A person from Mexico, even though Mexico is part of North-/Middle America is not considered an "American" but a "Mexican"....
