Just played some x-box 360 tonight, pretty cool, looks nice, you know whateva. But In time I shall be getting a free x-box 360.

My dad's work instead of giving money christmas bonuses they are instead giving 360s to all their employees. So In the near future I may be enjoying my own 360 thingie + extra controller. :-D:oops::cool:

name one cool game that makes it worth buying

word!

I mean half of the games are also available on PC (if you have a good GPU/CPU you can even enjoy the same quality of graphics) and the rest is just ok.

There are no exclusive uber games, that make me wanna buy that console. Even the Gamecube has more appealing gamecube-only games atm.

Got mine~

Ended up with PGR3 (über pwn), PDZ (which is pretty lame) and Condemded (which is surprisingly cool).

Really like it so far, the entire feel of the console, menus and so on is great. Also added some MS points and bought some penny arcade avatars :o!

Kameo is definitely a cool game, as well as Perfect Dark Zero. But I'm still a bit disappointed, because I expected groundbreaking games from Rare like in the good old N64 days.

COD2 is also available on PC and it looks just the same.

Don't get me wrong, 360 is a fine console but for someone who already owns a good PC, there are few reasons to actually buy the xbox.

If I had enough free time and money to spare I definitely would buy the box, but at the moment I rather wait for better games or the PS3 (or maybe Nintendo Revolution).

Obviously you havent been paying attention to Rare the last couple of years if you thought that. However I must confess that I had a slight hope that they could pull out something good.

hmm I heard that a lot of people left the company after Microsoft acquired it. Where did all these guys go to? There must have been a lot of talented people working there.

Well the key members behind Goldeneye and Perfect Dark went on to form Free Radical, who make the Timesplitters games. If you play one, you'll see they make no effort to hide their roots :)

True.

Sadly, Free Radical and Rare are diluted forms; their output just doesn't come close to the brilliance of their combined golden days.
