fuck you guys, i'm going to make a thread that is about outer space! Here you can post all kinds of cool stuff and facts about space. You can only post things that are awesome but that wont be hard because almost everythign that has to do with space is awesome.

japan landed a spacecraft on an asteroid last week :0!! they tried to collect samples and hopefully everything went fine and the spacecraft can return to earth safely. There are apparently some of its chemical engines broken because of the contact with the asteroid's hot surface.

here are the pics they released! You can see the shadow of the spacecraft which is hovering 30 meters above the asteroid surface.

Fuck man, outer space is the shit.

Theres a private rocket company called Space X, and there going to offer low-cost commercial space launches. Their new Falcon 1 rocket keeps getting delayed though. The Falconsat-2 satellite, the first payload for SpaceX's Falcon 1 rocket, was built by cadets at the U.S. Air Force Academy to measure space plasma. The fact that they're starting commercial space flight is awesome.

i think it's super awesome how the mars rovers were expected to last 90 days but have been there for like 2 years.

that and a few days ago a nasa probe to an asteroid traveled something like 2.88 billion miles to bring some dust back to us

The only thing i know for sure about the space is that we walked on the moon and its slipping away which will make the world wobbles, i mean it will wobble more then today since it allready wobbles.

And then the shit WILL hit the fan.
