I'm just dabbling with some of the internal tools and I've come across a few things I want help with:

editguis: how the hell do you add your own images? I've tried making a 'guis/assets/' folder in my D3 dir with the tgas in there but it wont work. Also I see there's a few targas that come up as solid white blocks in ps yet are actual pictures in the gui editor :???:

editparticles: what am I meant to do with this? I had a look through the materials but you only get a small preview and half of the images wont even display :| Is there a way to get full-size previews of the materials?

Ahh that answers some of my questions, but is there a way to view textures at full size with specular and bumps implemented? or do I have to open the editor? I actually just want to take some captures of the rendered textures for other editing purposes...

make your sig smaller or i'll delete it.

Right you are boss.

only way i know of to see fully rendered textures/models is to open up the editor/game.

Not sure why you cant load any of the custom assests. I Never had any problems.

I load any custom tgas into the gui editor and there's nothing there, yet if I change it to one of the default d3 ones it works :???: I managed to make some guis today.. well edited level transfer ones :roll:
