No, it doesn't kill the fps. It's been fine for everyone whos played the map in terms of framerate. I guess if you've got a really low end pc then, yeah it will be slow.

Tested it the other day, it ran pretty smooth. Dux has been doing a good job optimizing the brushwork. Looks and feels great in-game.

As for the little Insurrection updates... we're just three slow level designers thats all. :P

*UBER BUMPATRON*

Hai guys, just thought I'd bump this old thing to say that the mod it was made for is obviously pretty dead, all 3 of us got too much real life stuff to deal with to contribute our time to it. So instead of letting this map of mine die I'm gonna finish it off into a little Single Player romp just for the hell of it. :)

I don't want to have it rot on my hard drive considering the amount of time I invested into it. So watch this space. Maybe.

'Expensive fog' comes with a price. It may prevent other particles to not render at all, such as muzzleflashes. In Day of Defeat and Counter-Strike Source, this also renders smokegrenades useless, as the smoke doesn't render (the grey screen fade is a coded proximity effect, not a particle).
