mawibse Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 You do reallize that you got spoonfed ANTI-Nazi propaganda shit from since you could crawl. Does that mean you lack a will of your own?
Kosmo Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 I don't think that any of us here have been spoonfed anti-nazi propaganda, atleast not in the magnitude of the Lamb and Lynx case. Or was someone homeschooled because there might have been nazis in your school? They are still kids, what their parents say is the absolute truth and they think that there is no reason for their parents to lie to them. Maybe when they are older they realize how wrong their parents were, but as of right now, I don't think that they have any kind of free will.
mawibse Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 I don't think that any of us here have been spoonfed anti-nazi propaganda, atleast not in the magnitude of the Lamb and Lynx case. No, the magnitude of the anti-nazi propaganda is of course much bigger since nazi's are an extreemly small minority and the majority of society is anti-nazi. Or was someone homeschooled because there might have been nazis in your school? If the reverse was true that there was nazi teachers preaching nazi propaganda in shool then I would have been homeschooled, yes. and they think that there is no reason for their parents to lie to them. Their parents don't consiously lie to them. but as of right now, I don't think that they have any kind of free will. Just like you in that age then. I wonder, at what age does this free will come, and how do you know?
⌐■_■ Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 It's not the free will thats in the way of the truth. It the ignorance. They have to know where to choose from.
GrayFox Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 It's not the free will thats in the way of the truth. It the ignorance. They have to know where to choose from. Exactly. A teacher in high school once said that people our age (16 back then) shouldn't have opinions about certain things. Ofcourse he was laughed at and called crazy, but I understand what he meant.
mawibse Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 Aahhh so they dont know that they can choose not to be Nazis?
Kosmo Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 The free will or rather freedom to choose is not bound to age, some people might be well over 20 and still be controlled by their control freak mother, I have a friend whose parents has decided everything for him for all his life and not until recently he moved to his own house and he has somewhat gained control over his life. He is the same age as me, 21. In my case I was around 14 when I decided that I didn't want to have any part of any religion, and my parents respected my decision, at the time I had a freedom to choose that. And when I said that they were homeschooled because the mother feared that there might be black kids in the school and they might teach them to tolerate different people, it was a supposed situation, just like your nazi teacher, but you still did risk it and go to school, these kids didn't even take the chance. Do you see the difference? I believe that their parents are smart enough to understand the concept of world and how it works, so I DO believe that they are dliberately lying to their children.
johnm487 Posted November 4, 2005 Author Report Posted November 4, 2005 I believe that their parents are smart enough to understand the concept of world and how it works, so I DO believe that they are dliberately lying to their children. Their concept of the world is an all white society. Its the way they were brought up, so its the way theyre going to bring up their kids. My parents brought me up by telling me to respect your fellow man, and thats what im going to teach my kids. It all depends on what your parents teach you. Its not these girls fault that they got dumped with shitty parents who teach them things that we think are wrong.
Kosmo Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 Sure people teach and respect certain values, but my point is that even if their parents are brought up with all colors white upbringing I still think that their values might be twisted, but with proper education and a hint of intelligence you should make up the world for what it really is, and not what your upbringing might have taught you to think it is.
