which hand rail do you like the best?

i actually prefer the square one with a nice metal tex it could look very nice. but the second one would look cool too with a wooden handrail as mazl said.

The square one seems to fit with the textures better, I like the idea of wood as well.

actually i think plastic blackish handle would be best on the square railing and some nice metal on the rest

I'm for the round one, perhaps with a colored handrail (wood, plastic cover, something like that). I don't like that square, for some reason it feels too expensive for a ladderhouse like that. Or... it should look rusty and old, kindof oldskool styled, then it would fit.

Both need another color though, they feel too clean and new for their environment.

i will try out the black handle . but so far the wood one really fits in becuase the underparts of the walk way are wood and they both corispond to each other. i will try and give the railings a bit darker skin like a dirty one so it doesn't look too clean like you stated.

The distortion on that makes it look like metal. Battered looking galvanised steel would look about right IMO. There's plenty of that in tower blocks etc

Yeah, I'd have to say the rounded one as well. It looks more sturdy.. besides, this is a railing that is supposed to prevent people from falling to their potential death.. which would you trust more?

The smaller square shaped ones look more suitable for a set of small stairs leading up to the front door of a small house or something.

Just my 2 cents.

I like the stair case and rounded with the brown, i dont like the tile floor u used.

Round one fits in better, sqaure one looks unsuitable for a big staircase.
