Phatsniper Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 I never got to play through Poke 646 properly, I was an alpha and beta tester so I played the levels in weird orders and several times in a row. I still had great fun though and the art was fantastic. Out of the rest I'd say ETC and USS Darkstar are proberly the most memorable. Quote
Nazul Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 never finished hl1 sp or any of it's mods Quote
Tequila Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 USS Darkstar. They Hunger was utterly fantastic, but I cried with joy at seeing what Neil Manke could create with the standard HL texture set - something as far away from Black Mesa as possible, yet emminently convincing. Quote
Section_Ei8ht Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 USS Darkstar. Damn that monkey! Quote
Quakis Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 Poke646 They Hunger Heart Of Evil The Conspiracy in Shadow 2 Azure Sheep Point Of View Escape from the Darkness Escape from Woomera Are my most favorite mods Others I liked are: Someplace Else Puppy Years Brave Brain Quote
JynxDaddy Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 I love all half-life sp mods. Except Chemical Existence, it looked ugly, was too dark, and had enough bugs to make me ragequit. Quote
PhilipK Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 I would have to go with ETC. Also ETCII was really cool. and of course poke646 was very well made with a lot of custom content. Quote
Fletch Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 1)Poke646 2)USS Darkstar .... 99)Gnawing my testicles off 100)They Hunger Quote
D3ads Posted October 13, 2005 Author Report Posted October 13, 2005 99)Gnawing my testicles off 100)They Hunger Hahaha, that made me LOL. You guys remember Redemption and Wanted? Both by Maverick developments, classic SP stuff there, actually I would rate Redemption as my second favourite... Quote
Phatsniper Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 Hehe I remember writing a very harsh review on Redemption on my old website. In hindsight I was too harsh, it was fun and there were some cool ideas but I felt lost too often. It was even worse in Wanted where every other map would be a 20 minute trek through 2 tone caves. Still good fun for the most part though Quote
⌐■_■ Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 Oh yeah, Wanted. One great mod too. The worlds were great, but indeed sometimes big... /edit still no updated poll, wich sux Quote
