Steppenwolf Posted October 8, 2005 Report Posted October 8, 2005 This is my first ever car and the most complex thing that i have modeled + unwrapped so far. The model has 2889 triangles. This includes openable doors (modeled them for a fucked up version of the car that follows later). The skin is by Markus. Quote
PhilipK Posted October 8, 2005 Report Posted October 8, 2005 sweet stuff there ! looking really cool. Quote
JynxDaddy Posted October 8, 2005 Report Posted October 8, 2005 I love how its dusty/dirty. Fkn awsome. One thing that could be better is tinted windows, it looks like there are no windows right now. Quote
von*ferret Posted October 8, 2005 Report Posted October 8, 2005 very sexy, you probably could've gotten away with less subdivision somewhere like on the hood. Otherwise VERY sex. Quote
Marcos Posted October 8, 2005 Report Posted October 8, 2005 Great work, looks aweosme! Maybe dirt up the seat skin abit, since the car itself looks pretty old edit: sorry i see now that you didnt do the skinning Quote
mikezilla Posted October 8, 2005 Report Posted October 8, 2005 PH-PH-PH-PHOTOCHOP! That has created some really akward edges and lighting inconsistencies (for example the wheels have lighting in different direction???) It has a good overall look, but up close it gets sloppy. Perhaps a bit more work on it and then some make a nice detailed alpha map for the shine so that the dust masks it away... BUT the model itself is really good, with a good use of polys all over (except for the steering wheel... i think you went overboard a bit there.) Quote
Schmung Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 Bonnet could do with some optimisation, otherwise the model is sound. Yeah, sort the lighting and get some spec maps etc on there and you're good to go. Quote
RD Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 AWEOSME!!!!! a-we-osme But mikeZ noticed somethings, which i absolutely missed Quote
D3ads Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 Brilliant! How was the skin made? I don't understand how vehicles are skinned... Quote
