How to improve the overall performance of my custom map mod for a game: ??

Hello everyone,

I am working on a custom map mod for a game and while it looks great;, I am running into performance issues. The frame rates tend to drop, especially in more complex areas. I am using a combination of detailed textures, custom assets and large scale environments but I feel like there's room for optimization.

Could anyone share some tips or best practices on how to improve the performance of custom maps, specifically related to texture optimization, asset management or level design strategies: ?? I am mainly using the tools available in the game engine but I am open to any general advice on how to handle high density environments without affecting frame rates too much.

Also, do you have any suggestions for balancing visual quality with performance, particularly when working with large maps and high resolution textures: ??

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated !!

Thanks in advance !!

With Regards,
