I just got a hefty gift certificate to borders for my birthday, so i got some money to spend. specifically, im looking for modeling for games, and more specifically, the unreal engines. Quote

Lee3dee Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 for characters http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... s&n=507846 if you doing it for the unreal engine, then just buy the Unreal Bible http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... s&n=507846 I teach the Unreal Bible in the Unreal Tech class. Its the best book on unreal Tech sorry, but the 3ds max 7 bible is alot of pages for me. If you just want the meat, follow the tutorials with the program. Quote
mike-0 Posted September 21, 2005 Author Report Posted September 21, 2005 im kind of sceptic to get the mastering unreal book, because i think maya has a sponsorship with unreal or something, so i dont want to buy a book that focuses the modeling with maya. am i correct? Quote
