Delayed Announcement Date for maps proceeding to Stage 2

Our judges are working hard judging the 267 maps that got submitted in the Big Adventures Mapping Competition. To give all maps a chance to be looked at properly, the announcement of the maps proceeding to stage 2 has been delayed to August 18th.

All further deadlines and announcement dates in the competition are unaffected by this.

i went thru the list and found 98 maps are actually bomb defuse and actual playable maps

this is way more entries than the last contest had right ??? cs2 is huge lol

hey now hostage maps are definitely in the realm of "playable maps" they're just not as popular by a magnitude of about 20!

Well, IMO that brings better fighting chances for those who are making hostage maps. Since there are few there, they could stand out and at least bring the possibility of 2x2 game-mode maps winning in the end. 
Aside from that, huge respect for the team, for extending the period of time for judging since the numbers are huge.

Big adventure mapping contest! Stage 1 is already behind us. It felt like it just started. But hey, life is like that. It starts a bit slow and then, you can not even manage to blink properly, and boom. Time has passed! Stage 2 is about to start, and I wish good luck to everyone moving from Stage 1 to Stage 2. Hope big adventures await those who play and test the maps!
