nelson Posted May 23 Report Posted May 23 So... I'm finally making my blogpost here, this is a competition after all, so better generate some hype. Unveiling: de_lagrange, formally known as de_spaceelevator. Join the CTs in defending a very potent new form of energy storage, or the Ts, hired by a rival company, trying to destroy this new prototype. This scirmish of truly cosmic proportions will take place on an important checkpoint at geostationary orbit of the great space elevator to lagrange point 1 (aka L1). Which company will be able to take the victory on this one? The map is a remake of a source 1 project of mine, though most areas have undergone severe gameplay changes. The gameplay centers around one central bombsite, the space elevator platform. During the round it will slowly move down the elevator shaft. Both teams will try to take control of important surrounding positions to get an attack angle onto the bomsite, while CTs can also choose to access it at the start of the round, taking a defensive position on the platform itself. Freaky_Banana Posted May 24 Report Posted May 24 Very excited to see how this will work out! Do I understand correctly, that this is a Demolition map? Or does the map include some way of separating two centrally placed bombsites? Quote
nelson Posted May 24 Author Report Posted May 24 The map will be intended to be played with one bombsite, yes. Quote
Freaky_Banana Posted May 25 Report Posted May 25 Very cool, Demolition has always been underrated! Good luck Quote
