3D_Mike Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 Dont EVER mention Splinter s--t in the same sentence as MGS... WHOOPS! Quote

MJ Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 its obviously not pre-rendered (like it clearly states) and it will probably look like that in-game. Of course this is scripted its a freaking demo reel shown at TGS. Hideo did do a live demo of this too. I see no one is bitching about the quality. GrayFox Posted September 21, 2005 Author Report Posted September 21, 2005 why is he wrong? First of all, it is real-time, this has been confirmed. Have you EVER seen graphics in an MGS trailer that didn't end up looking just as good or better in the completed version. Aah well, people didn't believe the first MGS2 trailer was real-time either. Quote
3D_Mike Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 That MGS4 clip is a 100% demonstration of how MGS4 will look ingame. Now go and play MGS3 Quote
3D_Mike Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 The Killzone 2 trailer however is not realtime. I know this because Killzone 2 (the game) is developed by a bunch of fucking retards here in Amsterdam and the pre-rendered trailers are developed by a scottish company called Axis development. Killzone 2 will undoubtely suck as much as 1 if not more. I dont understand why people keep bringing up Killzone when Halflife2 is mentioned as much as I dont understand why Splinter Cell should be mentioned when an MGS game is. Its like comparing shit with lasagna Quote
RD Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 U guys are all blind. Its obviously pre rendered. I know mgs looks good, but if u ever played any mgs game u will remember its filled with pre-rendered scenes occuring during the action, and the actual gameplay graphics are less detailed versions of these scenes. Or are we talking about another kind of "pre-rendered scenes"? I played thru mgs2, and it was absolutely flabbergastingly filled with them. Quote

KoKo5oVaR Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 heh anyway, instead of that graphic stuff there's something that every fanboy like me must wonder about. Snake looks really cranky ass now, but if you make the comparaison with otakon who doesn't look really old : and in mgs2 : so is that really snake ? or anoher clone bastard coming out from space ?
