Age of Empires III and Vietcong 2 demos out!

An Age of Empires III demo has just been released. This is a single-player demo, and contains two campaign missions and two skirmish maps which you can play as the British or Spanish empires.

Vietcong 2 has also been released in demo-form, and it's a multiplayer demo.

Is the AOE3 demo really really laggy for anyone else? Just the main menu, my mouse is quite jumpy

Checked out the aoe3 demo quickly before I went to work, looks awesome.

Used to be a huge AOE fan but Ive sorta grown tired with its gameplay in recent years, hopefully this is what I need to get back into it

Oh and Vietcong 2, meh. The first one was okay but Im really tired of Vietnam war based games.

Didnt give Empires a try yet but Vietcong 2 was not impressive. The sounds are low qaulity and the animations are buggy. Ragdoll is very unrealistic, and the level design wasnt to great either.

I tried both demos, and i must say that AOE3 was the best. mainly because I was kicked from every server i tried to join because i supposedly was cheating, but i didn't. same thing happens with far cry. weird shit.

Vietcong 1 sucked for that reason, I never belived in a Vietcong 2 for the same reason...

I don't belive in AOE3 for the reason that its being played in the era of the Independence War, but I might be wrong, downloaded the demo some time ago now, just can't play it cause I'm doing a compile

The AoE3 is set on colonial times and gradually gets to the independence war, just like Colonization.
