The Postman Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 I've seen pictures of a number of ex-marines who patrol their neighborhoods with loaded weapons looking for looters and are shooting them on sight. Hell yeah! Get caught with anything but food and water and you should be shot. YEAH DOOD THAT IS SO AWESOME LIKE WOW! SHOOTING PEOPLE IS COOL!!!! :derp: Harsh, but this is a disaster, not a free shopping day Yeah and vigilante justice measured out by military trained gun nuts is just peachy keen and never influenced by personal prejudices. Personal defense is one thing, killing people over a TV that was lifted from a Wal Mart is just fucking inane.
Kosmo Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 Taken up a speed trial, I guess you could get a deathsentence for stealing
Izuno Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 Taken up a speed trial, I guess you could get a deathsentence for stealing  like a drumhead. Yeah i've been reading more of the stories online and talking with a lot of other friends...they have noticed the same "black=looting" and "white=scrounging or finding or recovering" stories. Regardless of all that, I would love to see some indepentent reporting on the reporting...if possible. I'm curious how and where the media's biases are affecting our interpretation of events. I am in Chicago right now on vacation. My sister and I are organizing a neighborhood food/supplies collection to be shipped down to New Orleans area on Friday. It's not much, but I think it will help my sister cope after seeing these devestating images on TV and felling like she couldn't do anything about it.

I think the same feeling is going through us all, just deposited some money on Red Cross collection, I guess I won't be eating for a week, but I guess it's a small misery compared to them on New Orleans.
Tequila Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 i dont understand that image Think about how the colon could grammatically change the context of the sentence, darling.
JynxDaddy Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Thats George Bush, not Colon Powell
ginsengavenger Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 that would be Colin He should have married Semicolin Powell
von*ferret Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 I hope when we're all totally fucked over by a natural disaster that claims members of our families and friends, we can all think as level headed as ferrett. You're an example to us all. How does losing loved ones warrant stealing materialistic items for one's personal benefit. I dont see any reason to forgive those who steal, they should be treated as criminals as they are, criminals. My shooting anyone who is stealing was mildly sarcastic, but anyone caught should definately be arrested. There is no excuse for it.
DaanO Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 If anyone could eat, drink or sleep inside TV's, i would agree with those looters.
Kosmo Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Or if the american social security system didn't suck I'd be agains those looters
RD Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 it has an uncanny resemblence to Bagdads looting spree 2 yrs back. I guess its natural
Kosmo Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 I just hope people in the states now finally understand, how people in the countries were feeling when they bombed the cities to dust, it's not just news flashes and politicians talking.
