Blunkka
Suppose I haven't shown this one here yet. Renders could use surely use some little adjustment but starting with them would cause me never to be able to call it ready. The concept and a couple of renders so please feel free to give some feedback on whatever you like.
DanielAragon
i noticed empty space underneath it, would it be able to roll up into a ball or a smaller verion? model looks good to me =]

insta
baby strider, so cute lol Agreed, it does look like a baby strider. Very cool stuff.
RA7
nice, but it needs more skratches and stuff.

ginsengavenger
cool look but i'm curious how those elbows would work... i think it could use some sort of hydraulic actuators: look at the complexity of all that mechanical 'stuff' that actually moves the arm around. even the striders had a little more meaty stuff going on at the joints that at least gave the impression of more mechanics. von*ferret
I read in a popular science they're creating fabricated muscles, so maybe it doesn't need hydraulics! Eitherway its a cool sci-fi model with a good theme. I dig it :~)
Kedhrin
i like it, very simple - yet effective
Minos
Looks good. I think you should add some more detail to the texture, like scratches, dirt, some weird company name etc...
MrH2o
Thats no baby strider, more like a mechanical headcrab. 2 suggestion 1) Like someone said, maybe the legs could be inside the body so whenever they appear in game (i suppose you want them in HL2) they should roll in like a ball (think Star Wars ep 1-3 robots) then deploy with thier legs. 2) Walking headcrab things with the blue lasersearch things that the turrets in the big building in city 17 using (when you fight with Barney). maybe they could be an alternative to cameras, something Combine soldiers throw into a room to be sure its secure (would make a nasty sound if someone walk inside the scanner range) Its a really good model nonetheless
