FrieChamp Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 Counter-Strike, Command & Concquer, Diablo II, I spent pretty much the majority of a summer vacation with playing Neocron, now looking back there are several more games I spent a lot of time with simply because I had so much of it. After playing the 14 days trial of WoW I drew the line, working till 6 and then playing the rest of the evening in the office, I knew if I dont stop now it will have bad consequences for my social life and health Quote

ctswin Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 Has to be Monkey Island 2. I can spend ages walking around, listening to the iMUSE system change the music. Wonderful. Quote
skdr Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 Indiana Jones: Fate of Atlantis Perfect Dark Monkey Island series Goldeneye 64 Quote
Minos Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 King's Quest V and VI. Lost entire summers to those games! haha good one. My list: - Half-Life (at least for the first time I played it) - Resident Evil 2/3 - Saga Frontier 2 (old psx RPG game) - Diablo 2 Quote
Tequila Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 Of course, I can't forget about the impact of Half-Life 1. Honestly, in some shape or form, I've played it at least once every month for the past 7 years. It's a sobering thought, testament to just how much it gives, primarily thanks to the mod community. st0lve Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 I guess Fallout 2 is the only game that have taken up some serious time, creating new characters is so damn fun. Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 and 4 have taken alot o time on the PS2, aswell as SSX and SSX Tricky.. Quote
D3ads Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 Max Payne 1/2 Half-Life Doom II Kingpin AVP (so fucking hard even with the savegame patch ) Quote
von*ferret Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 Hammereditor, minesweeper, and umm... lol jk I've died playing bf2. Honestly my gaming repetoir is realy lacking. My brother bought an xbox so I've been trying to play as many console games as I possibly can in my vacation. Went through co-op halo2 with my brother and now I'm playing BiA, I wish that had a co-op =( I tried to get into grand theft auto but I've never been a fan of 3rd person so I didn't like that much. My brother goes crazy over it though. Last PC games I played was FarCry which was pretty good, but I didn't get "lost" in it. I had to strap myself to the chair to get anywhere in doom3 because it can't hold my attention. Unreal 2004 was also fun until I hit my brick wall and can't get past this certain point in the ladder single player. Hoestly though my hours in hammer, unrealed, max, and photoshop far exeed my gaming time =( which is a sad thing because I need to know games to build games. Quote
jayrabbit Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 I've played Vampires - Bloodlines recently. The haunted hotel level scared the shit out of me - maybe the best horror part in a game ever! Very cool game, too bad Troika doesn't exist anymore. uuh by the way, wasn't there a guy at mapcore who used to work on Vampires? Quote
Lee3dee Posted September 6, 2005 Author Report Posted September 6, 2005 hehe forgot about Goldeneye, Halo 1 & 2, Devil May Cry, I have so many that consumed my time. hehe FrieChamp: yeah, the WOW 14 day trial was tasting the crack. hehe. While it was very addicting playing the Hunter, and my bear name GentleBen, it definately would be a game I'd buy if I had lots of time to spare. If i could trade in BF2 (sorry all, I hate the no accuracy of the weapons) I would probably buy WoW and play it now and then. hehe. von*ferret: There's always room for gaming . I too work crazy hours, but I always find time for gaming Keep the games stories coming Quote
johnm487 Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 Marathon War Craft 2 Star Craft Half-Life Star Wars Galaxies Then I donno, half life 2 maybe. Quote
von*ferret Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 I just tried this morrowind game for xbox and was really dissapointed. Too much "go here, than go here, without a map of course." I can't keep a repetoire of 50 names in my head on my so called "quests." Some people like these games, I just can't get into it. Back to BiA. Quote
InsaneSingingBlender Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 it seems really gay at first ferret but it starts to get really fun once you know how to do shit, and when you get to a really high level it gets awesome. im level 29~ Quote
Lee3dee Posted September 6, 2005 Author Report Posted September 6, 2005 Hehe, I picked up Morrowind when my friend who used to work at Bethsoft, said "You want a job at Bethsoft as level artist, learn the editor quick!" I think I played it for 10 mins before I got bored, the first town was terrible. Editor was confusing as hell too! I always seem to go back to the unreal editor Quote
