Kosmo Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 Awesome, awesome, awesome game, savage, lots of funny multiplayer moments and actually great balance to the game, with nice innovative gameplay and truely different 'classes'. And the only thing I wanted, was to have a sequel to the game, and it looks AWESOME! Savage 2: A Tortured Soul Quote
Mojo Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 yes, YES, YES! will I didn't really play the first due to me being a cheap bastard and not wanting to pay $25. I did play it a lot at a lan party I went to a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it. I almost recently went out and got the first one, but it seems that no one except the really diehard fans play it, so that turned me away. Can't wait for this however. Quote
Kosmo Posted August 31, 2005 Author Report Posted August 31, 2005 Yeah, it is odd how people seem to think that Savage is like 5+ years old or something, it's like two years around now. And another that kills the buzz, is that these fragfucks don't play anything that isn't CS or doesn't have anything to do with Half Life or Instagib, FACE IT GUYS THOSE GAMES SUCK ASS! But anyways, seems that not many here have heard of the game, nor are excited about it, I just hope that people will try it atleast. Quote
Nazul Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 hmm i loved savage and i hoped someone would make a hl mod for it ( something alike ) guess this'll do Quote
Low Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 I remember playing the demo, was simply hours of fun. Tis' a shame I never picked up an actual copy of the original.. Quote
Mazy Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 Never heard of it But savage 2 looks pretty good Quote
Mojo Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 you basically get money for killing people every round (also there are creatures around that you can kill and get money) the more money you gett the better weapons and such (like that big ogre is a creature you can buy and use). In a way it is like BattleZone. Quote
patriot Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 Looks nice, I played the demo of the first release a bit when it first was released. Quote
Kosmo Posted August 31, 2005 Author Report Posted August 31, 2005 Like Mojo said, multiplayer is bit like battlezone or something, there are two sides the humies and the beasts, you kill opponents to get money, and money to upgrade your class or get completely new class (bettar), or you can use your ass for something good and be a commander and pimp the base. There are alot of different weapons ranging from bows and arrows to railgun like toys and explosions *woohaa*, and there is pretty good melee engine, kinda like the old jedi knight or something. There are some siege weapons too, like catapults and ballistas. You have to gather some resources, you can do it yourself or let the commander to order some peons to do it for you, anywho, you have to protect your peons, and you can also help them build the structures. There are one trillion things to do in the game and this is why it is the most innovative multiplayer game I have ever played. Great fun! Fun! Say it with me! F-U-C.. I mean FUN! Quote
InsaneSingingBlender Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 savage 1 was so much fun at lans Quote

Kosmo Posted September 1, 2005 Author Report Posted September 1, 2005 well the graphics are so good i have an erection, but im not a big midieval fan. Railguns and lasers are Sir Lancelots weapon of choice. It's not that medieval, more like post-apocalyptic or something, nice mix of hitech and magic&mayhem. Quote
