Meotwister Posted May 11, 2006 Report Posted May 11, 2006 Hey guys, here's a guitar I'm working on just for fun, not necessarily gonna be a prop or anything just making a guitar. I have toyed with the idea of learning to bake normals and trying it out on this, I'd like comments on if that's a good idea with this type of model. Not textured either just flat color. oh and vivi nice patio furniture. Quote
hessi Posted May 11, 2006 Report Posted May 11, 2006 oh no, you did it, warb! this weekend we will push your hammer skills OT: i ordered plush headcrabs and they are already in frankfurt (200km away) Quote
nico Posted May 11, 2006 Report Posted May 11, 2006 incredibly cool stuff warby! thumbs up! =D Thats what the striders in hl2 should have looked like Quote
Meotwister Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 aww, I guess no one likes my guitar so far. . . well, I guess I'll attempt to make a scene or something. . . Hey vivi tell me how to get vray workin! I know you know! Quote
cyberjunkie Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 Meotwister, I think your model is fine, the lights are too harsh, I think it wipes all the details D: Maybe a lower intensity light will help Some tweaking of the material too maybe Quote
nico Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 Meotwister: make a room where the guitar is hanging on the wall or something, that would be cool. Quote
Meotwister Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 thanks for the input guys. I think I was going for a kind of bright concert lights before. I'll see what I can do with it to please you guys. Quote
