curman Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 That knife reminds me of a weapon Artem (X-Con) made himself, its pretty much the same with a wooden grip and 4 holes insted of 2. That's what I was going to note, and not too mention knifes like those actually exist. Either way X-convict is a badass skinner of weapons for that war-torn look. Quote
CyanideCotdPnuts Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 http://www.artemstudios.com/3d/knife_render03.jpg That's the weapon you're thinking of. Similar sort of, but the designs are a tad different. I don't actually think this knife exists, would be cool if it did though. It was basically photochopping parts together, added with a little hand-drawn stuff. Quote

But there are Knuckle-Knives out there, that are a combination of brass knuckles + knife. They're fairly common. Quote
von*ferret Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 spec might be too high, unless you throw on a spec map highlighting pores and then it might get toned down. Quote
von*ferret Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 did you put geometry in for the wrinkles around the nose and such? I'd like to see a wireframe before proper feedback. Quote
KIIIA Posted March 28, 2006 Author Report Posted March 28, 2006 nice , solid work nooba! Did you have the arch on a photo before and model after it, or did you texture it after you finished the model (which can be pain in the neck). Quote
von*ferret Posted March 28, 2006 Report Posted March 28, 2006 nooba that is friggin hot mak I think that the head curves a little more near the eyes. Something looks odd right there to me. however its a superb start! Plans on zbrushing it? Quote
Bic-B@ll Posted March 28, 2006 Report Posted March 28, 2006 i like it nooba, you didn't really have to have all those sides on the arch though, it would look better if you had once side per stone Quote
