MaK Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 (edited) Weapon based from a old game I used to love, before CryTek claimed the licensing :< Suggestion and feedbacks please (Before I start modeling the low poly) It's the monkey gun / mag charger!!! Skibur Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 It's the monkey gun / mag charger!!! Yup! I added a few details, I'm trying to figure it out how to deal with the ammo clip (or battery in this case). It's a hassle that it doesn't fit in the case when sticking out. Still needs something to make it more appealing. Quote
blackdog Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 Here you go. Had to make a new render and optimize it for a print, so its a bit different from the original version, but the shadow works a lot better. Thanks for your feedback. Loving this big time! Is it an actual game in dev? ChA1NsAw 1 Quote
kanine01 Posted August 20, 2014 Report Posted August 20, 2014 I think I'm calling this finished. 1488, cashed, Giovanni Bruno and 4 others 7 Quote
Fuzyhead Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 Yet again working on a WWII weapon. The textures aren't 100% finished, therefore I am looking for some feedback cashed and 1488 2 Quote
Fuzyhead Posted August 28, 2014 Report Posted August 28, 2014 Well well, even though there was no criticism (unfortunately), here is the final asset: RedYager, 1488, Steppenwolf and 1 other 4 Quote
Tosh Posted August 30, 2014 Report Posted August 30, 2014 Been studying 3ds Max for about 4 weeks now, and this is my first more or less serious model. No textures though. I think everyone starts with guns 1488, Squad and Setin 3 Quote
paranoidMonkey Posted August 31, 2014 Report Posted August 31, 2014 Loving this big time! Is it an actual game in dev? Well that was initial the idea, but I don't think that I'll ever be able to do it myself. Quote
kanine01 Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 Made this and printed as a poster for my girlfriend as a birthday gift. :3 blackdog, RedYager, esspho and 2 others 5 Quote

SuperDuperYeah Posted September 19, 2014 Report Posted September 19, 2014 Hey heyyy. What's up. Been working hard and thought I'd show a little side project. Got to play a little around with Mental Ray in Maya. Can't say I'm a big fan of non real time rendering techniques but it does have some cool bells and whistles. That's kind of an improvisation on a model and concept made by Nick "Panick" who is... incredible. I've been drooling over his work and thought I might study it to get some hands on at doing hard surface type modeling. So yep... wish I could join the Whiteboxing challenge... but so much work... I can't. ShockaPop, El Moroes, Spherix and 6 others 9 Quote
