Meotwister Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 wouldnt be all that hard to edit the texture I would think, but depending on what it is for (decorative prop, etc) and how crucial it is you could make the decision on whether it is a productive use of your time to make a model for this texture. For the texture, if you took the picture, go back on an overcast day to retake the picture so there is no shadow, if you didn't take it then google better Quote
General Vivi Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 that would prob take like ten mins to get rid of the shadows . i dont' htink it would be that difficult. Quote
curman Posted February 5, 2006 Report Posted February 5, 2006 damn. i gotta get zbrush, everything i seen emerge from it has been awesome. Quote
Kedhrin Posted February 6, 2006 Report Posted February 6, 2006 looks like a lot of lumps (what i usually see from zbrusH) but your concept is going that direction, good luck. Quote
Spellbinder Posted February 6, 2006 Report Posted February 6, 2006 Thx a bunch nico! I'll download those tuts. Now im following the tuts that comes with 3dsmax. I also have a lot of tuts downloaded and have done a few of them. But never Joan of Arc though. Spellbinder. Quote
von*ferret Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 Heavy WIP, havn't touched lighting yet except for a simply set up. Very basic texturing atm. Lotsa modeling left. Started work on the factory today. Quote
Erratic Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 That looks awesome ferret. Looks pretty tight so far. Should be really cool to see where it goes. Quote
insta Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 Looks cool for sure. What are you planning on adding? Quote
von*ferret Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 Rocks, shrubs, maybe a small bush or something. Finish the L-Shaped factory, add some concrete structure under it. Take away the dirt and add grass on top of the bunker. Add my character I did last quarter rigged smoking a cigarrette somewhere. Camo Netting over the bunker. Better pipes with better texturing. Just small details. Than do the background with finalizing the buildings back there, yeah there are buildings. Than I'm doing the actual lighting in Shake (Google the program if you dont know what it is). Little bits here and there, thats all. Quote
ReNo Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 Wow, I love the style you have going there. Awesome textures and architecture. Quote
sinarty Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 Something I mad for a mod I'm working on. The render sucks so flame me. Quote
insta Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 Is it for Eschaton, the immersive roleplaying first person adventure shooter simulation thriller mod? Looks good, but I've lost count of how many unskinned ak47 renders I've seen in my life. Quote
