Psy Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 71 Polies Haven't modeled in a while and I have only recently learned how to uv map. Quote
ReNo Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 I don't really get any sense of what that is made of from the texture. Looks as much like a blurry, muddy clay type material, or perhaps even animal fur, as it does wood (which I guess is what it is actually made of). Quote
hydeph Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 looks like filthy, overworn wood it's either a nightstand or a filing cabinet Quote
ReNo Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 Still comes across as more like fur than wood to me, but it is better than before. I'm sure somebody who knows what they are doing with 2D art will be able to help you out; I'm afraid all I can say is that I'm not getting wood from that texture Quote
Psy Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 Well, it is a wood texture Take a looky: And look at all the different versions. http://imageshare.co.nz/files/view/25/draws_rendertextured_fin3.jpg http://imageshare.co.nz/files/view/25/draws_rendertextured_fin2.jpg http://imageshare.co.nz/files/view/25/draws_rendertextured_fin.jpg Quote
L4zy Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 I like the first one more... has a great rotten look. If you want to have a "new" cupboard, take the 3rd. Quote
ReNo Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 The 3rd one looks a lot more like wood than the other 2 to me. Quote
