von*ferret Posted May 9, 2006 Report Posted May 9, 2006 that gets me frigging wet. YOU HAVE to zbrush this or get some nice normal mapping. Hot damn thats one of the best character models so far I've seen out of here. Quote
Minos Posted May 9, 2006 Report Posted May 9, 2006 Oh yeah that's awesome nico, it's hard to model a monster with a beliavable anger/terror expression and you did it imo. Quote
teeluu Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 neat'o btw. it's texturing, not textureing  Quote
Steppenwolf Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 Vivi i see a lot of wasted polygons, especialy on the sides of the chair. Thats not good if its supposed to be a low poly model. Quote
General Vivi Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 ah na it was just for contest i would not model like this if i was going to be making this for css or hl2 and i woudl have spent more time on my skin as well Quote

Meotwister Posted May 11, 2006 Report Posted May 11, 2006 Hey guys, here's a guitar I'm working on just for fun, not necessarily gonna be a prop or anything just making a guitar. I have toyed with the idea of learning to bake normals and trying it out on this, I'd like comments on if that's a good idea with this type of model. Not textured either just flat color. oh and vivi nice patio furniture. Quote
hessi Posted May 11, 2006 Report Posted May 11, 2006 oh no, you did it, warb! this weekend we will push your hammer skills OT: i ordered plush headcrabs and they are already in frankfurt (200km away) Quote
