after one round my first impression is that the game fucking ROCKS and runs smooooth like warm butter on my 9800pro, full HDR.

then i tabbed out and it crashed.

Played Anzio and Avalanche for quite a while each, and had a ball. Gameplay is pretty much exactly the same, but like CS:S, the new assests really breath new life into it. I also seemed to be a damn site better at this than the original DoD, which is nice

I proclaim Anzio to be one of the best looking source maps I've seen. Love the axis spawn to bits. Can't wait to see how the allied one looks!

Love it. The animations on the weapons are particularly great - slapping a fresh mag. in has never been so satisfying.

i haven't bought it yet, but i was wondering how different the gameplay is than the original (from main objectives to small stuff like weapon kick), and if the new materials were nice. i think im going to start a map for it using cs:s textures and stuff then switch it out when i get dod:s.
