D3ads Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 I've been wanting to take a look inside the .ras files that make up the data for both Mp1 and 2 for some time now, but I can't seem to find anything that will open them, Google searches come up blank as well. Anyone know of a way? Quote
zeOx Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 use rasmaker that comes with the Max Payne 2 tools, and pull up the cmd and type: rasmaker -x X.ras i think that'll do the trick. Quote
insta Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 First hit on Google : http://www.swissquake.ch/chumbalum-soft ... orials/mp/ Basically, find the documetation for rasmaker.exe (which I guess is included in the MP SDK) Quote
D3ads Posted August 23, 2005 Author Report Posted August 23, 2005 I didn't think there would be anything in the SDK foolishly.. Thanks. Quote

Zyn Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 Wow, some time ago I used rasmaker and all, when I was modding MP1 and MP2 ... D3, if you are going to mod, MP2 is easier (due to less scripting) to mod. Quote
D3ads Posted August 23, 2005 Author Report Posted August 23, 2005 Nah I just want to look at the textures, sounds, skins and stuff, I love looking at how a game's put together, I do it with just about all of them.. Quote
