i could really turn into a killing machine. you see the good and the bad lighting?

i compile my level and play it for the first time. building cubemaps works fine. if i reaload the level the ambientlighting seems to not be present on all dynamics. has anyone had this problem before? i don't know what to do.

I think the "lighting sucks" version looks better actually :D It actually means the model has shadows. Obviously this is a problem in most situations though, like those plant models.

Yes ive had this problem as well. Usually reloading the map another time seems to fix it, for me at least.

The problem with the lighting after cubemaps are built is due to the 9/23 update. Im getting the exact problem and it started right after that update.. I emailed someone at Valve and they said it would be fixed once Lost Coast is released.
