⌐■_■ Posted August 19, 2005 Report Posted August 19, 2005 Hi, I'm killer tomato. Some of you may or may not know me from the DoD and 1944 D-Day boards. One of my hobbies is leveldesign and right now I'm working on a project for 1944 D-Day, wich I am asked to keep secret. Okay, here's my request: For my level I need a 105mm gun model for HL2(as used in Brecourt, Normandy - for more infos: the gun is also used in EP2 of Band of Brothers). -> Does anybody want to make a 105mm gunmodel for my project? -> Does anybody know of a 105mm model for the HL2 engine? -> Can anybody port the flak88.mdl from DoD to a HL2 model wich I can use? Either way, you'll be credited. Oh, and as far of the request goes, this was the only place I thaugt a request would fit. If this is not the case, please correct me or move this thread to were it belongs! Thanks in advance and have a good holiday! - tomato Quote
KoKo5oVaR Posted August 19, 2005 Report Posted August 19, 2005 I'm sure this is not the answer you expected, but try to make it by yourself , there's no better way to learn how to make props, and believe me, that's really usefull in our times for a level designer . Quote
⌐■_■ Posted August 19, 2005 Author Report Posted August 19, 2005 I would, if I had the time. I used to experiment alot with MS3D, but it''s been a long time since I touched that program. I don't even know if it's possible to make HL2 models with it... Quote
ReNo Posted August 19, 2005 Report Posted August 19, 2005 Yeah you can use milkshape - great little program for simple props Quote
⌐■_■ Posted August 19, 2005 Author Report Posted August 19, 2005 I'll have to investigate that later then... Still, don't be shy if you're interested in making a 105mm gun for me. Quote
von*ferret Posted August 19, 2005 Report Posted August 19, 2005 THis should go in the classifieds forum, not the WIP forum. Quote
⌐■_■ Posted August 20, 2005 Author Report Posted August 20, 2005 Thanks, next time I'll post in the classifieds forum. - tomato Quote
