Nazul Posted August 8, 2005 Report Posted August 8, 2005 NIIIIIIICE , that's for PC right ? damn that look hot , but the part where the monster came in looked kinda scripted or whatever .. ( the dude dodging him )
Erratic Posted August 8, 2005 Report Posted August 8, 2005 Developed by a three man team, too. These guys also put out Savage, a sort of Battlefield/Fantasy game, for lack of a better description.
KoKo5oVaR Posted August 8, 2005 Report Posted August 8, 2005 Ah savage, that was a good multiplayer game, shame it doesn't find his players. But savage it's most a mix with a rts and a fps, you have to collect ressources, built things and all
Eliot Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 man every game engine this year is looking real good ^^ but unreal engine 3 still owns them all (edit) or is this the ue3? and just a game on it ?
kleinluka Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 it's not UE3... interface in the first sneakpeek isnt UED.
zeOx Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 that totally blew my mind! i found a 1280x720p HD-trailer of the same video on fileshack: http://www.fileshack.com/file.x?fid=7493
Eliot Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 it's not UE3... interface in the first sneakpeek isnt UED. k u talk like the other things without the first sneakpeek is wel UE3? btw its not ued its ue3
kleinluka Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 I'm saying if you look at the first trailer that shows in game footage and the interface it's using that's not the Unreal Editor for UE3. Unreal Editor = UED I'm working with Unreal 3 and that is definitely a different interface. Must be some home made engine or something.
Erratic Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 The main website clearly states they're using the Offset Engine, devloped in-house by the team. Not sure what would make anybody think a three man team could afford UE 3.0 to begin with.

Erratic Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 There's no editor as far as I can see in that video, just what I guess would be some sort of developer mode being ran to display the particle/motion blur affects more clearly.
Phlek Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 Woah....where did this come from. This engine looks amazing.
