Zacker Posted August 6, 2005 Report Posted August 6, 2005 You seem to have a very special mapping style. Some of the areas look very cool while others show bad mapping and unfinished stuff. I agree with Blaz. Quote
Flashdevil Posted August 18, 2005 Report Posted August 18, 2005 Nice job sharpening your screen shots. Quote
Lee3dee Posted August 22, 2005 Report Posted August 22, 2005 looks awesome! how many meshes did you create? for the level? or did they come with HL2? Quote
teeluu Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 Some areas would need some more detail. Anyway you have a nice feeling throughout all the pictures. Good job Quote
Trempler Posted October 12, 2005 Author Report Posted October 12, 2005 like it ? more to come ! greets trempler Quote
jayrabbit Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 vehicle and tree models are great. have you made them by yourself? the whole map looks a bit unrealistic though. I don't know, maybe it's the setting or the rough brushwork or the lighting. there's something I don't like about your map. Quote
Schmung Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 Lack of order? Looks very thrown together.Bunch of disparate obkects in apparently random positions for no reason? Lighting and burshwork good, but it looks very disconnected and somewaht random at the mo. Quote
insta Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 I like the shape of the building in the last screenshot. As Schmung said though, it looks very thrown together. Also, try to get a smoother transition between those metal plates and the displacement map. Quote
von*ferret Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 otuside looks too washed out in my opinion. Quote
Skjalg Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 Theres obviously just too much^^ Theres an apc there, so i guess the place is used, it sorta looks that way in some ways, but the thing that just screams "wrong" here (imo) is that its too overgrown in a way... Quote
von*ferret Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 people just dont build giant buildings surrounded oddly by rock walls. That was "so halflie1". Quote
