Anyone remember this game? I used to play it alot when i got my first computer. it was one of bungies 1st games. I loved everything about the game. Just wondering if anyone else appreciates this game.

I'm sorry I can't say I've even heard of this game. I looked at some pics of the game and it doesn't look familiar at all. BTW what part of MA are you from?

It was only for mac. i think the second one came out on pc though

merrimack valley, near lowell. its like 20 minutes north or Boston. Why you ask?

I played Marathon 2, it was the first fps to hook me up, I really enjoyed it.

I only played the demo tho, on my first pc.

Never played it as much I'd like to have, but yeah, pretty damn awesome game.

I think that anyone who has followed the Halo development has not been able to not hear from Marathon. My first contact to it came around 95' or so when Bungie released the Marathon 2 for Mac and me and my friend played for ages and ages. Just had to try the first one aswell, I'm not sure if it is the time or if they really were that great games, but definedly better than Doom series.

The release seems to be Mac only, it says Windows files were coming soon. Kinda disappointing. Bungie has said you're free to download the game from various places though.

Edit: Check this site out, Marathon 2 seems to be downloadable for Windows.
