FrieChamp Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 A bunch of videos here: http://media.xbox.ign.com/media/621/621324/vids_1.html The level editor looks interesting, a simplified version of Sandbox Building fps levels on shooters seems to become more popular, or at least, developers and publishers start to support it now with networks like x-box live available to distribute them on. Props to the Ubisoft guys, game is looking good Quote
Mazy Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 I just like how at some point they dropped the PS2 version of it. Sure, its probably alot harder to get something look like Farcry on the PS2, but the market is also ALOT bigger with the PS2. Anyway, fliplflap Quote
st0lve Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 that editor is like THPS editor, so damn simple. Quote
Algor Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 I could easily see why they dropped the PS2 version.. only way they could get it running there is for it to look like shit. After watching a few of the Far Cry Instincts videos from IGN... wow Pretty damn impressed with how it looks and plays, multiplayer actually looks like it could be a lot of fun. Although the UT style announcer seems a bit odd. The editor is pretty damn incredible to just hop into the game on XBOX! Just wondering how they are able to do all this without going over memory and stuff. Still seems like you could create some decent looking maps with this editor. Quote
