blackdog Posted March 18, 2022 Report Posted March 18, 2022 I completely missed the announcement of this title, and found out only because of some deal on one of the many retailers(!). I completely forgot posted something ages ago but the sequel probably deserves its own topic. Beck 1 Quote
NikiOo Posted March 19, 2022 Report Posted March 19, 2022 I remember playing Sniper Elite 4 with my nazi friend. We had a really fun time. We both cried when we killed Hitler. blackdog and Mr.Yeah! 2 Quote
Beck Posted March 21, 2022 Report Posted March 21, 2022 Hard to believe that other thread was 3 years ago! Really excited that SE5 is having trailers released now, I love this stage of the project as the public gets to see more and hype starts to build! blackdog and Radu 2 Quote
blackdog Posted March 21, 2022 Author Report Posted March 21, 2022 I think the cinematic trailer does more harm than good, is not great… do you know if is a Brit doing a very accented speech @Beck? That’s the feeling I get. But otherwise I like how it gives me a somewhat Splinter Cell vibe, just with the different focus on guns instead. Funnily enough I haven’t played any title I tenebre finding the demo of v2 (I think) too hard abs movement too clunky and didn’t want to give a chance. It’s improved in leaps, I keep getting discount notifications for 3 & 4 but I just don’t have time and I have such a back catalog Quote
Beck Posted March 30, 2022 Report Posted March 30, 2022 Not sure who did the voice over for it but I think it was meant to be Churchill. I don't think it did harm though, the feedback we've been getting has been very positive so far! New trailer dropped yesterday too! Quote

I only mean in comparison to gameplay video… but I guess if they are still a thing the engagement numbers must justify. Quote
Beck Posted March 31, 2022 Report Posted March 31, 2022 I think people still enjoy cinematic trailers. I do myself as they're just nice to look at. They're kinda like short movies I guess and help to set the scene for the game. The cinematic trailer we put out introduced a new feature of our called the Axis Invader where players can invade your game as an enemy sniper to try and take you down which has a lot of fans of Sniper Elite excited.
