Farles Posted July 26, 2005 Report Posted July 26, 2005 Heyo! I'm new to these boards, just showing what I've made so far for NightFall Mod which I'm currently working for. Models are shown in HLMV, textures are pretty low res 'cause of my config, they're 8 times that resolution normally (512x512 for most of them) All modeled, UV, textured and compiled by me Made some more but not shown here. curman Posted July 26, 2005 Report Posted July 26, 2005 Good work, I would love to see them more with hi-res textures. Keep up the good work~ Quote
Tequila Posted July 26, 2005 Report Posted July 26, 2005 Big Ben devoured by a Combine Citadel. Genius. Quote
curman Posted July 26, 2005 Report Posted July 26, 2005 Big Ben devoured by a Combine Citadel. Genius. Thats what I thought, an original theme, finally. That would be such an awesome 3D Model, if you did at very hi-poly right with an awesome HDR Render :x Quote
|FRITZ| Posted July 26, 2005 Report Posted July 26, 2005 big ben eating the citadel doesn't really look like a model, but more like a bad photochop for some reason. And the textures are pretty blury. Cool models though. Quote
DanielAragon Posted July 26, 2005 Report Posted July 26, 2005 the big ben one reminds me of the MAC gun from Halo 2 Quote
jaardsi Posted July 26, 2005 Report Posted July 26, 2005 Lovely props you've got there. I really like that hospital bed(?) thing and the clocktower. Quote
JynxDaddy Posted July 26, 2005 Report Posted July 26, 2005 Should have a big combine digital clock smashing through the big ben. Quote
Pericolos0 Posted July 26, 2005 Report Posted July 26, 2005 why dont you show them with proper res textures? Quote
Farles Posted July 26, 2005 Author Report Posted July 26, 2005 Thx Guys. @Pericolos0 HLMV doesnt want to put the texture to high-res because it thinks my computer cant handle it (well almost, got a GF2 MX400...). If anyone knows how to bypass this and get high res textures in HLMV, send me a word plz. Quote
mike-0 Posted July 26, 2005 Report Posted July 26, 2005 send them to someone else on the dev team nightfall looks awesome Quote
st0lve Posted July 26, 2005 Report Posted July 26, 2005 render them in max? or did you use something else to model them? you could also show flats, that would work Quote
Farles Posted July 26, 2005 Author Report Posted July 26, 2005 all made in Gmax, exported to Milkshape then to HL2. Textured in Photoshop. Ya, I could show flats Quote
