Kosmo Posted July 23, 2005 Report Posted July 23, 2005 Apparently some people are not happy till we have removed everything that even resembles human body, well atleast in america. Now the target is not GTA, nor is it Leisure Suit Larry (altho we are coming to that I'm sure), but very harmless game of Sims 2. Yes apparently Sims 2 goes beyond games that have violence, well, abused kids proof that familylife is way more dangerous than a pistol  Gamespot Quote
mike-0 Posted July 23, 2005 Report Posted July 23, 2005 Wow, some polygonal video game characters making out. I see about five couples making out every time i go on a bike ride. This is bullshit and it needs to stop. If someone made a movie with a sex scene, it would be rated R, 18 and up. But when someone makes a game with a sex scene (originally rated for over 17 year olds), everyone fucking shits themselves. ESRB is a bunch of PMS'ing feminist bitches. Quote
Kosmo Posted July 23, 2005 Author Report Posted July 23, 2005 The attorney claims that if the blur effect is taken off the models resemble too much of naked people. My guess is that this attorney is a virgin Besides Maxis didn't put any genitals to the models, so even if you take the blurr effect off (again something done wit a mod and the developer can't be held responsible) you can't see anything you couldn't see by stripping a barbie doll. But the problem here is that the attorney says that EA nor Maxis are doing anything to prevent people from doing nude mods with models that have hoohoos and haahaas, to which to me is just plain retard, why should they prevent mod makers from doing this? If a mod maker does a mod it is the users decision to download the mod and apply it to the game, in no way there is children exposed to content they are not willing to see, or are porn movie producers responsible if a kid willingly downloads a porn movie from the internet and watches it? These days, people are not allowed to have free will. Quote
JynxDaddy Posted July 23, 2005 Report Posted July 23, 2005 Barbie Dolls are more graphic than the Sims. This is getting ridiculous... Quote
D3ads Posted July 23, 2005 Report Posted July 23, 2005 What the fuck is wrong with this guy? I bet he's a fucking Christian as well.. gah. Quote
user Posted July 23, 2005 Report Posted July 23, 2005 can we go back to the days of just sueing mmo makers because the game got their loser kid addicted then the kid became even more of a loser because he never ever went outside again, and only ate pizza and drank soda for the rest of his life, which was cut short when he attempted to trade a very rare item for another rare item, but the other guy ripped him off, so he killed himself. yeah. ReNo Posted July 24, 2005 Report Posted July 24, 2005 Hehe, looks like I touched upon one of your pet hates there Kosmo I don't make a habit of nagging people about it, but once in a while it all builds up and I need a release I see it as a common courtesy to put a bit of effort into laying down your thoughts. Grammar is there for a reason - to make things easier to read and get the exact message across clearly. Choosing not to bother is showing disrespect to the readers. I'm hardly asking for 100% perfect grammar anyway, and I appreciate the fact we are a multinational community and people have different graps of the language, but a little effort goes a long way Quote

I'm hardly asking for 100% perfect grammar anyway, and I appreciate the fact we are a multinational community and people have different graps of the language, but a little effort goes a long way I understand, but what I have seen here is no where near what they have to stand on other forums from some people that really don't know any english at all, OR deliberately write like retarded monkeys with a brain tumor. And where I agree with you, correct grammar and spelling equals correct message presented. But then again, like I said, there are not that bad cases here in this forum, so you'd have to lack something if you didn't understand what the message is, and I think there are no such people here. Dont tell Reno to stfu. He has the right to state his opinion. Well I sure hope that I have the right to that aswell. The bottom line is that when people jab others about bad grammar when it actually is not neccessary, is just not that cool, if someone has continously bad grammar in his posts, then a word might be in order, but one post just doesn't justify that. I think you agree with me here. We all have our days that the hell with all kinds of rules and grammars and all that shit. Quote
von*ferret Posted July 24, 2005 Report Posted July 24, 2005 If you'd like to make your points more valid in the future, maybe being vulgar is not the way to approach it? Furthermore insulting one of the more compitent, productive, assets to our community isn't appropriate. Quote
