Well Namco were to be distributing SOMETHING from valve through arcades in Japan, so it wouldn't come as a huge surprise if this was legit. It makes sense for them to "rebrand" it to suit the new customer base. It is a bit wierd that its CS and not CS:S though.

Mmm... hostility.

Actually I can read the text just fine, since the charater code in the site is japanese and I got japanese charater sets put on, but I can't actually read it, maybe my cousin who studies japanese could.

And the game is verymuch real, it was announced for arcade machines at Arcade Machine Show 2003, more about it and even a nice video here.

It's basically a mod for CS to change the graphics to suite the arcade market in japan, which is dominated by anime scifi shooters and beat'em ups.
