Flower_Shop_Guy Posted December 15, 2021 Report Posted December 15, 2021 (edited) It's been a while ago since I've been here. So I'm creating not just a single map or a model. I'm creating the whole game using Unreal Engine with my frinds. I don't know which the topic should used for posting this? Sorry if I was avoid some rules and selecter the wrong topic. I would like to share to you with my game, that I making with my friends, it's called "MIMESIS". "MIMESIS" - is a multiplayer Hide'n'Seek action-shooter game, inspired by the once popular PropHunt addon for Garry's Mod. The game is currently under development, but feel free join our Discord server for more info and support on Kickstarter! Here some screnshots from the first levels of the game. Also, 95% of models here made by me too! (yeah, when buy the assets on Epic Store is not the option) Office Level: Industrial Level: Edited December 15, 2021 by Flower_Shop_Guy will2k, Corvus, Serialmapper and 3 others 5 1 Quote

I think toning down a bit should help make the scene more realistic. Great work so far; keep it up and best of luck Flower_Shop_Guy 1 Quote
blackdog Posted December 16, 2021 Report Posted December 16, 2021 This looks real nice I am a bit confused on the theming, what’s the narrative universe look like? Seeing a futuristic/space level dropped after an office that looks like CS2.0 gave me an immediate vibe of kitbash/asset flip, not because the models don’t look good, but because it’s a big thematic change. So it is quite important that you “explain” why there are such different environments. Probably don’t put such different environments side by side in any promo material for the public. Human Doctor Posted December 30, 2021 Report Posted December 30, 2021 No amount of explaining will fix that. The last scene is just too unrealistic to fit with everything else. It's like something out of Doom. Unless it's literally a sci-fi movie set. There is too much "industrial" flavor in the architecture of the room, which compensates for the lack of anything that you'd actually find in an industrial setting. Perhaps if you filled with with manufacturing robots and machinery, it would look less fake. I give this an overall 2/10. It's unsalvagable. Better start from scratch. Quote
