Do I can make csgo maps with my pc?

Hello guys. Because I want to make help with development of csgo's mod Classic Offensive I want to learn maping, But don't know my pc will handle the Hammer and compiling. 

CPU Intel celeron N2830 with 2 core up to 2,41 gz

GPU Intel HD graphics 2000

4GB ram. 

Pls don't recomend me to buy New pc because I can't. Only can effort more 4 gb ram.

My advice would be to try and get 8gb of ram and even though you said you cant get a new pc i would strongly suggest even trying to get a cheap laptop with better specs but you can probably map as long as you don't use the carve function (which you shouldn't use anyways) and don't work with high poly-count shapes. Other than that compiling will suck.

    • Maginot [Wingman]
      Hello everybody!
      I'm creating a map (based on the Maginot Line) for the Wingman's Contest - provided by Source Engine's Discord.

      I started the map 3 weeks ago and I'm on the detailing phase, slowly progreeding area by area, worried with the time left. I decided to follow this strategy: detail 75% of every area and after that (and gaining some time) I'd put some final touches + polishment + optimization.  

      I wonder, should I keep doing it in a hurry or is it better to make it with no rush and patience (losing the deadline)? There's still a lot to do and I'd like to hear your opinions...
