Hello we are Hammer Studios, a game and modding companies specialized in engine such as the Source Engine/Goldsrc/UE4/Unity etc Hello we are Hammer Studios, a game and modding companies specialized in engine such as the Source Engine/Goldsrc/UE4/Unity etc we are fairly a friendly community who love all that kind of thing and We are currently working on Eater for the Source Engine one it's a survival horror action fps inspired by cult classic romeo and they hungers.

 

 

We are currently looking for:

Mappers:

- show one of your previous works

-understanding boomer fps style aesthetic

be skilled in mapping

- understanding boomer fps and horror aesthetic

- have at least 4 or 6+ year experience with Valve's hammer editor

- must be able to make some level campaign for the ''project'' 

- be collaborative, friendly etc.

- maps must be environmental, aesthetic and detailed

- our map is set in america 

- making time lapse development

- optimizing the maps

 

 

3D Artist:

-understanding boomer fps style aesthetic

- Be talented in modeling

- be respectful, friendly and enthusiastic  

- Be familiar with mp games 

- Experienced with Blender or Maya

- Making props that will fit (train, locomotive etc.)

- Working on the weapons (Umbrella, M1911 etc.)

- working on building models 

- Working on the player model

- Working on light models

- Working on another props such as (Statues, chairs, foliage, boat, rock etc.)

 

2D Artist:

- Be talented in graphic design or either ''texturing'' if you rather prefer that :P

- Previous experience with HL2/Source projects is required

- Be friendly, respectful and enthusiastic

- Making a logo and banner

- Working on promotional materials showcase knows as ''media'' 

- Must do industrial-setting textures

- Working on graffiti/paints (including: Industrial post, Commercial posts etc.)

- Working on religious-setting textures

- Working on the skybox textures ( Day, Afternoon, Evening and Night)

- Working on nature-setting textures (water, toxic, beach and grass)

- Working on manmade-setting textures (Walls, Floors, Woods and roof) it must be cartoony and very detailed 

 

Programmers/UI Designer/Particle Editors:

  • Be skilled in programming and familiar with ''C++"
  • understanding boomer fps style aesthetic
  • Be friendly, respectful and enthusiastic 
  • Previous experience with HL2/Source related project is required
  • Making a horror HUD - we don't want the HL2 default and we'll need to get rid of that! :v
  • Making a horror HUD we'll need to get rid of the default. :P
  • Sanity system we'll need that for our game.
  • Must be able to update every game builds updates 
  • Bug-hunting
  • Making ''practical system'' source engine (Fog, dynamic infestation, flamethrower fire effect, water impact and Blue Whirl) 

 

Sound Designer/VA/Musician:

  • Be friendly, enthusiastic and respectful
  • Previous experience with HL2/Source related project is required
  • understanding boomer fps style aesthetic
  • Be talented in voice acting, sound designing, making music etc.
  • Music must be cool and sick
  • Making weapon sound effects for the weapons.
  • Voicing the characters and npc/enemies
  • Sound designing the footsteps 
  • Voicing the characters 

in the meantime we are also still looking for web designers, game producers and etc.

      This was my most time consuming project that I've started back in 2018, but then scrapped and returned to it in 2021.

      It took about 8 months to complete and was a great learning experience for me.
