Nuclear Dawn Memorial Thread

Hey there,

So I wanted to archive what I felt is the finest unreleased Source mod, Nuclear Dawn. I know it was eventually released, but the team had changed so much that I don't feel it matched the original team's vision. There may be more media out there, but this is the stuff I was able to find and wanted to archive. I may want to do this for Nightwatch as well, since that appears to be the finest unreleased Half-Life mod.

Shame fuck all was finished except for Rob's map. The japan level was basically two rooms they used for the screenshots  

Please make one for Nightwatch!

I somehow got my hands on a leaked version of the Japan level back in the day. I was so bummed when I saw there really were no meat on the bones lol. But it did look nice!

It also blew my mind how complete the Russia level was. I have very confidence they would have finished the levels. 

I would like to do a Nightwatch one next, but will need help as it was before my time, and unlike with Nuclear Dawn, I won’t know what is missing unless someone else points it out.

I think @Squad could help you with this as he was involved in it.

Fantastic job on this one! This was one of the prime sources of content when I was web mastering HLItalia  

In terms of content to post I might have something to add… I used to collect all of these shots for reference/inspiration. I should have a bunch of shots from Nightwatch @FMPONE… I need to find in which HDD they’re stored (and hopefully the disk is not bust, I know one backup drive seemed definitely fucked).

Yes! that would be helpful. I'm just as excited about the Nightwatch content, but no idea where to end.

I still have a bit of NW stuff, although not nearly as much as I once did  You could also check with @KungFuSquirrel,@Campaignjunkie, @Sa74n, @Mazy, @MagnarJ, @von*ferret, @-Stratesiz-, @Crackerjack, Adam "Who?Me?" Foster (just listing some people as a starting point, some of these will very likely be inactive accounts).

I really cant believe ive found this post - really bringing back a lot of memories seeing these names again. crackerjack here - I havent used that name handle since the project died
Would love to talk to people who apart of nightwatch again - anyone here using discord? 

In terms of content from that time - everything is gone on my end. I have been searching the net for bits and pieces of it - glad I found this

I remember when I met Mike for the first time, Zach Ford introduced him to me. "This is Mike, he works on Nuclear Dawn" , I almost shit myself. Fun to be working on Prodeus with him 10+ years later.
