Izuno Posted June 29, 2005 Report Posted June 29, 2005 tilde here's some advice: it's all about the games you work on. get on good games, your career will usually progress faster. so ghost recon 3 is not a bad game to start on. Quote
Spellbinder Posted June 29, 2005 Report Posted June 29, 2005 I want to say that if YOU do a good job i don't think it matters how good the game is. After all you will have you're portfolio and that has to count for something. Wouldn't it? //say $str($chr(126),946) Spellbinder. Quote
Zacker Posted June 29, 2005 Report Posted June 29, 2005 Congrats Evert!~~~~~~~! Ghost Recon 3 is indeed a cool game to work on:) Quote
Mazy Posted June 29, 2005 Report Posted June 29, 2005 Im just not too keen about the title: Ghost Recon 3: Advanced Warfighter Is that even a word? They musta made it up Regardless then the game looks nice~ Quote

Sure, your individual skills count a lot, however having worked on big titles makes you stand out. Companies like to hire people from other big companies/competitors to adapt their knowledge and experience. It makes a difference if you worked on Half-Life 2 or Deer Hunter....but yea, in the end it also comes down to what exactly you have done in the project (and for how long). Quote
