DD Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 My parents who were created by their parents and so on and so fourth following a chain of evolution that leads to single cell organisms. Anyways... you have your beliefs, I have my facts. I just ask that you keep your religious ideas to yourself, and I will not point out the idiocies of your religion.
RD Posted February 12, 2004 Author Report Posted February 12, 2004 and what created the single cell organism? lolz DD u have no facts u mention evolution as a fact and when the koran mentions it u call it a religious belief! get ur facts straight and go disprove anything from the koran No human being(s) could have kept track of 2698 occurrences of the word "God," and the numbers of verses where they occur. I could, I guess they're just stupid. so u believe in the code then? or not? i understand ur desperately trying to supress this miracle in ur closed mind, but plz keep it to urself!! Also since ur not a mathematician it doesnt suprise me u havent yet grasped the complexity of the example u used
mikezilla Posted February 12, 2004 Report Posted February 12, 2004 shit like this is what people do to convince themselves of some proof that God exists because they don't want to take the blind jump. It's difficult to convince yourself of a higher power without some sort of actual proof, just to yourself... Oh and islam hates us cuz we're the great satan. Man wouldn't that be a big ball of suck... To live my entire life only to find out Islam was right and I'm Satan... would ruin my poptarts and cheerios for that morning I tells you what.
DD Posted February 13, 2004 Report Posted February 13, 2004 I am very much a mathematician. Two more classes in statistics and I'll have a dual minor in math and statistics with my computer science degree in about 1 to 1.5 years. I took calc I, II, and III college level 2 years ago, moved on to linear algebra, discrete math I and II, differential equations, and more. Single cell organisms can be created by electric shocks to water and other various chemicals creating amino acids, the building blocks of proteins which all living material is made of. Any human can count. Doesn't take a mathematician. I have facts, you have beliefs. Keep your beliefs to yourself. Thank you.
RD Posted February 13, 2004 Author Report Posted February 13, 2004 this is offtopic forums DD, ppl talk about stuff here so ofcorse im not gonna shut up. dont get angry, its jus a thred! if theres false stuff then ofcorse i like to know about it and im not too close minded to stop believing any of it so tell me about it! and since were talking about the creation of life here r some facts: -life on earth began 3,8 billion years ago -The first humans on earth lived 1,9 million yrs ago -the first neanderthalers 190.000yrs ago -the first modern humans 38.000yrs ago -life as u know it began in the 19th century! coincidence? I THINK NOT!!!!!
CrazyMAC Posted February 13, 2004 Report Posted February 13, 2004 who cares we all gonna die anyway just enjoy the time u have. /me creeps up behind mike with a knife
Pericolos0 Posted February 13, 2004 Report Posted February 13, 2004 I ate a strange cake today a freind of mine brought to college (not a very bright idea, but oh well), and i was waiting on my train. Then all of a sudden i started thinking real deep about these things and shit (it happened all of a sudden!). And I realised we don't know nothin!! I had always lived with the idea that we humans are unravely more and more about how things work, what the universe looks like etc, but in the end, it's only a very small fraction of what things actually are. We don't even know what reality itself actually is. We only live on this world for about 70 years and that's it. We start, we end. I don't believe in an eternal life after death. We only experience a fraction of the entire universe and reality in our lifetime. It means nothing at all. Considering how endlessly complex thing are (or maybe how endlessy simple!), we don't really know nothing at all yet. So assuming there is a God to fill in the gaps is for many many people a satisfying thing to do. I don't believe in a god or any higher conscient being, I believe everything can be explained without it. But we never will. There is probably some much to be explained and humans will never be able to unravel it all. I can't believe i have been typing all this crap
FrieChamp Posted February 13, 2004 Report Posted February 13, 2004 Recently I read in the news about several teachers eating a cake they found in front of the door of the teacher's room. Too bad that it was a cannabis cake baked by some students and the teachers started behaving quite strangely and had to stay in hospital for observation. That's what first came in to my mind when I read your post Pericolos
Guest John Kerry Posted February 14, 2004 Report Posted February 14, 2004 "Organized religion is a sham and a crutch for weak-minded people who need strength in numbers. It tells people to go out and stick their noses in other people's business." -Jesse Ventura
Pericolos0 Posted February 14, 2004 Report Posted February 14, 2004 I just realise how drunk the spelling in that post is

DD Posted February 16, 2004 Report Posted February 16, 2004 im not too close minded to stop believing any of it so tell me about it! I don't believe in the "code" because its nothing but stupid facts of idiotic coincidences that ultimately prove nothing. Like 228 occurences of the word allah is a factor of 19... WOO therefore god exists. Thats stupid fucking retarded logic. Ramblings of raved idiots who think that some how everything divides or multiplies by 19 and in a few cases subtracting and adding to the count for no apparent reason proves a god exists is just dumb. -life as u know it began in the 19th century! Life as I know it didn't begin in the 19th century. I'm not saying god(s) exist or not, I'm just saying that this code doesn't prove anything.
RD Posted February 16, 2004 Author Report Posted February 16, 2004 btw the discoverer of the koran code was sentenced to death by the islamic community and was assasinated in 1990 , which when counting the individual numbers adds up to 19 (1+9+9+0)!!! unbelievable!! The numbers u mention DD, could ofcorse be a coincidence, but the probability of this being a coincidence for evry verse and letter of the Koran is almost zero. U can calculate that in ur next probability math class
DD Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 It's not a low probability to start saying things add up to 19 or divide or multiple or are a factor of 19 plus or minus 3 to 4 from the count. Thats like saying theres X amount of words in this post - 5 x Y = Z which is a factor of 19!!! You can just make anything up, its not a high probability to just shit out numbers and equations by adding and dividing anything. Anyone can make sense out of nonsense by peforming random math functions to any number. It's not a low probability at all, in fact just making up numbers and doing whatever the fuck you want with it to get a number is a 100% probability. So once again, no it's not a godly interference or even near that, its retarded nonsense.
