I really, really think mapcore should host a half life 2 dm server, with the best of the custom maps posted here. Talking about growing, i think people who appreciate nice maps would come here after hearing about mapcore from the server, instead of the noob flood you get from the cs.net forums. If anyone's got the spare computer... do it.

It should be a CS:S server IMO. HL2DM is utter garbage.

A really dissagree. hl2dm is awesome, imo.

Also, mapcore seems to push out about 10 times more dm maps than any other mod. And the nice dm maps that come out are way nicer than the good cs:s maps.

I know its not quite the same, but if you guys post decent levels over at the Snarkpit, we're always interested in adding more to our HL2DM server. Keep in mind it's UK based so its not wonderful for anyone further away than mainland Europe, but we have a few US players that frag the place without complaining too much
