mikezilla Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 braveheart : awesome movie but by no means flawless. heavy handed voice outro ending? a few cheeseball montages. Other than that, awesome. Schindler's List : Agree. But that movie HAD to be flawless to work on the level it did. Raiders of the Lost Ark : Best Indiana Jones movie. But Temple of Doom is SO bad it actually makes Raiders worse (take notes mr lucas.) flawless movies (imo) : road to perdition. fight club. leon the professional. Quote
GrayFox Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 Road to Perdition: I've seen it once so I can't say much here. I thought it was pretty good but I didn't get that "WOW!" feeling you should get after a "perfect movie". Fight Club: An obvious choice. Very well made movie and I agree that it's pretty much flawless. Leon: An awesome movie but if we have to be over-the-top critical, the ending would've been much more powerful if Besson had placed Shape of My Heart a little differently (don't hate me for this comment ). DEFENCE Braveheart: do you mean Wallace's narration in the last sequence? And there is only one "montage" in the film that I can think of (Wallace running on the mountains) and I think it's far from a flaw. Raiders: I don't believe that a sequel can ruin the original film. For example Terminator 3, I just totally ignore its existence. Other similar examples are Jaws 2 and Jaws 3-D, lol. And BTW, Temple of Doom is also brilliant but still not as good as the others. Skjalg Posted July 16, 2005 Report Posted July 16, 2005 I saw this movie yesterday. It was so incredibly cool, went straight to my top 10 list of bestest movies of all times ;> This is a must se for every man out there, We all have something to learn from Marve (Mickey Rourke). He is a man. THE MAN (Almost as man as Sean Connery, but still a good 2nd place winner). Quote
