Bruunk Posted November 18, 2020 Report Posted November 18, 2020 (edited) Same as my other map, I made this a while ago (about a year and a half) and I never really did anything with it. I'm very curious about how people will like it and what not. It's my third csgo map I've ever made and I'm really looking forward to hearing some feedback, positive or negative! One thing I am aware of is that there quite a few blank areas and the visleafs are unoptimised, so feel free to skip those ones. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1522894453 Edited November 18, 2020 by Bruunk Karthoum 1 Quote
KennedyB Posted November 19, 2020 Report Posted November 19, 2020 I ran around a time on this map and I got to say that it´s HUGE! And it's a maze. I don't know how it plays in a 5v5, but it feels like AWP would be overpower, and retake is impossible. Things that I like: The 2 stairs "connector". Everything here is to big/high, but I like the idea. The "slope" to the bombsite. But T need more space to "jump down". Now they jump in with there heads in the ceiling. T-Spawn and how you run into the base. Things that need to change before a playtest: Change to floor to concrete. Make the map smaller. Make the bomb-sites much smaller. Not a big fan of "2-level bombsites". Re-work the left side of the map. To much space here. Things will go crazy here in a match. I like the concept of the map KennedyB Karthoum 1 Quote
Bruunk Posted November 19, 2020 Author Report Posted November 19, 2020 @KennedyB Thank you very much for taking the time to analyze the map! I really do appreciate the feedback, and I agree with basically everything you said. I think in the future I will aim for making smaller maps as they often end up larger than I expected. SirSnail Posted November 24, 2020 Report Posted November 24, 2020 I agree, the map is an absolute unit, stairs are chunky bois too. I really like the theme of a dark gray bunker with vines everywhere, I'd suggest adding color with decals and lights, like the painted lines and alarm lights and the like. Looking at the overview the pathways look really interesting however making things simpler and easier to move around in for maybe 2-3 players makes things feel nicer. Good luck! Bruunk 1 Quote
