Niels Wosylus 1 Report post Posted March 21, 2020 LEVEL DESIGNER for Tallest Tree Hi there! I am developing a mobile game called Tallest Tree. You can take a look at it here: Android: http://bit.ly/30ywmGW iOS: https://apple.co/2GgU9lH I am looking for 2-3 people who want to try their hand at level design using Unity. We are going to team up with the goal of creating 500 levels together. Levels are typically short, snack-sized obstacle courses that challenge the players in different ways. They’re fun to make, but the players complete them way quicker than I can make them - so I need your help! THE PROCESS If you just want to jump in for fun and try it out, you’re hereby invited to do so. All you gotta do is apply. I made a short video where I show how levels are made so you can get an idea of what it's like: If you want payment for your work, I can offer that too. It works like this: You create a bunch of levels You send them for review You get feedback on your work You make an invoice for the levels that are put in the game You get paid I can offer 5$ for a long or complex level I can offer 3$ for a short or simple level I acknowledge that it’s a learning process, so if some of your first levels don’t make it into the game I will try to compensate you anyway. You will get faster and better at creating levels quite quick, and I’ll do my best to provide you with the tools and help you need to make it an enjoyable process. Note that in order to take part you will need to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement where you agree not to leak any of the source code or game assets You are free to work in your own pace. You decide how many levels you want to make and when. In my own experience, a level usually takes between 15 and 30 minutes to make. HOW TO APPLY Step 1: Download the game and try it out. You can find the links at the top of the post. Step 2: Fill out this application form: https://forms.gle/XKCBkKT5PLwzFcij9 That’s it! Once you filled it out, I will get back to you ASAP. Feel free to write me at [email protected] if you have any questions. Thanks for your time, I hope to hear from you soon! 1 TheOnlyDoubleF reacted to this
TheOnlyDoubleF 1,125 Report post Posted March 29, 2020 Hey, I played your game yesterday and I wanted to say I find it pretty cool. I would suggest to handle the level progression with a bit more a rational design 'cause there is no obvious theme in each round of level and I found it hard to understand the learning curve.
