Tisky Posted October 30, 2019 Report Posted October 30, 2019 So it is that time of the year again. Blizzcon is getting close and i dont think that the hype has been bigger than than ever before. Rumors of Bolvar/Lich king return I'm Wow, rumors of Overwatch 2, rumors of Diablo 4 AND Diablo 2 remaster. Even saw some streamers discussing a whole new IP being revealed. One thing is for sure, I can't wait! Might even buy a Virtual Ticket for this one. Can't be as bad as last year right? Minos 1 Quote

The best part is, beyond in game items there is no actual point to buyign a virtual ticket, people will re-stream it else ware and alot of the time blizzard posts highlights blackdog 1 Quote

To be fair, it probably has to do with people paying money to go to the actual convention , if it streamed free at home why would anyone visit? Its pretty expensive tho! Quote

Its pretty expensive tho! Apple WWDC costs $1600 to participate, sells out in a matter of hours if not minutes, yet the keynote stream is live and free. The workshop sessions are also available after the event. E3 costs $250 and is covered by different websites in real time, plus publishers have their own streams. Even Star Citizen, the most heavily monetised legal rip-off joke of a game, has tickets for $140 but a free stream. Have you ever been to a concert? You don’t pay just for the content of the presentation when you decide to attend, there’s a suite of other benefits from networking, to trying the products presented etc. Quote

Free BlizzCon 2019 Live Streams Opening Ceremony, Esports, and Select Panels This year, everyone’s invited to watch the BlizzCon opening ceremony, all of the BlizzCon esports tournaments, and select developer panels—including the first four panels on the Mythic Stage immediately following the opening ceremony—completely free on BlizzCon.com and in the BlizzCon Mobile App. BlizzCon 2019 Virtual Ticket If you want to get the most out of your BlizzCon home-viewing experience, you’ll need to pick up the BlizzCon 2019 Virtual Ticket, which comes with two full days of All-Access Channel content; complete coverage of all of the developer panels on the Mythic, Legendary, and Epic stages; the Community Night contests on Friday; and the live closing festivities on Saturday—plus a legendary cache of commemorative in-game extras. Check out the Virtual Ticket to get a closer look at this year’s loot. https://blizzcon.com/en-us/news/23189035/blizzcon-2019-preview-schedule-map-and-mobile-app-now-live I'm excited for tomorrow! FMPONE Posted November 1, 2019 Report Posted November 1, 2019 Overwatch 2 trailer! Both Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4 seem like they're iterations on the old engines, which is fine. I guess Diablo 4's trailer just wowed me a bit more, if I'm honest? Hopefully more stuff comes out that shows why people who may not have played Overwatch 1 that much should tune into the sequel. The co-op PVE stuff is nice, but the robots don't seem to have a ton of personality as villains, I can't get too excited about the prospect of fighting them. Quote
Tisky Posted November 1, 2019 Author Report Posted November 1, 2019 (edited) I Love that all old progress, like unlocked skins etc, comes with you in Overwatch 2. Gotta say the cinematics were amazing. Diablo 4 cinematic had me and My Friend screaming like girls at a Justin Bieber concert. An for Overwatch, a Gothenburg map, woooh. Can't wait to see future IKEA haha! Edited November 1, 2019 by Tisky Quote

PogoP Posted November 1, 2019 Report Posted November 1, 2019 Love the fact that D4 is going back to the roots a bit more. That looked great, if maybe slightly tooooo desaturated? Still way more up my street than D3 Nice work all. New Overwatch patch looks good Quote
