Nice theme. I had an idea for a map that takes place in Zanzibar as well. Maybe we could team up? I have one year experience with hammer, a small experience in modeling (still learning) and i want to start making textures as well. First thought: it exist from corridors and square rooms only. Try to variete a litle, maybe use some more open spaces, some diagnal routes, maybe some small invertion at some paths (but watch out for getting to many cheeky corners). Anyways if you want solid feedback, show us where the spawns and sites are  edit: and add some height variation and cover, or didnt u add those to the radar yet? right now its very plain

Thank you for the input Roald! Yeah the layout is currently very simple as i just recreated my design i made on paper into the editor. I do plan to put elevation and there are going to be quite a few open places. The layout of a map is always different in game than on paper. More Updates soon but i am busy most of this holiday so i might not respond immediately but ill do my best. Thanks For Input and the map will be ready for play testing soon.

Hello All! It took some time but here is the newest radar image. Map will be ready for play testing soon.

EDIT: I hope to get my server running soon where people can play test, However the server is hosted in Cape Town, South Africa so will only realistically be available for People in Cape Town And Or Johannesburg to get a decent connection.

I like the theme, maybe when you've got a good layout and you feel confident enough you could schedule a TopHATTWaffle or Mapcore playtest!

Thanks. I was actually planning on doing a playtest through mapcore myself. I also saw that the servers were in Europe, whereas I'm from RSA, but I will look into it again. In the meantime I'm trying to arrange a Play testing session on my server.

This is what Tuscan should've gone for, love the look even if the skybox looks a bit intense. Kind of fits just right though.

I believe he's referring to Tuscan, a popular competitive map that has a somewhat similar theme. (Boy do I have a lot of fun memories of playing on that map with my brother)
