Frustration with Counter-Strike Source Servers

Don't they have a feature where you can see a description of the server? UT always had a little window that shows you exactly what settings and mods the server is using when you select it in the server browser.

Right click, view server info. But I still get caught once in a while not checking for bots. I'm not sure if there is a way to check for FF through steam though if it's not in the title.

lammers that call u a nub/noob/n00b/what ever and flame you if you beat

them. he killed me so he must hack or have an exploit. im sure there are at

least 200 great servers to choose form..just gotta find them and mark them

as favorites

Right clicking on your bar that has [server Name][Map][Ping] gives you the option to add other columns such as [bots][Password Required][iP Address]

That should help you identify servers with bots.

I dont care either but it pisses me off when u kill them and they start to act like bitches. Thats why I never played in cybercafes anymore. Couldnt stand the yelling: "MOTHERFUCKING MINOTAURO GO FUCK YOURSELF U LAMMER". Or when you were the only one left on your team and they are like "OMG GOGO MINOTAURO!!" and then you get killed and they shout "GO FUCK YOURSELF YOU STUPID NOOB GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY SERVER!%!$!11". CS is nice when played with friends tho.

I hate those servers that are like, "Mature people only". All you get there is a bunch of weiner pussy 26 year olds who call 15 year old kids "fags" and "little kids" and think they're hard core.

i wish i had two steam accounts, so when i join a server and a bunch of these fucks wont stfu on their mikes, i could speedhack to their spawn and knife them. im scared to get my account banned, so i dont do that atm.

2. Please put a warning in the server title if you use bots!!! I don't mind playing with bots when they're less than 50% of the server. If I get a warning I can check the server info and investigate how many bots are on the server, if I don't get a warning I often end up waiting for a massive CSS load time which is even long on my effing fast computer before having to cancel and find a new server.

Not sure if it's been said, but one of the most hidden secrets of the steam server menu is being able to see instantly which servers have bots on. Want to know how? Right click on the top bar of the server list (where it says servers, latency, map etc), and you should see a list appear. Tick the option 'Bots'. This will add a small field to the left of "server" with a B in it. Now any servers with a yellow square and a B inside it to the left of their server name have at least one bot in them. Simple!

I agree on every point, particularly the ARGHASIHGSDG FUCKING SOUND DOWNLOADS. Every single bloody server I join is running admin mod and has about sixty "SUDDEN MEGADEATH OVERTIME EQUALISER" sounds to download, and most admins are as dumb as they are gimmicky, so the sounds are .wav instead of .mp3, plus they're not hosted via HTTP link. ARGH.

I really do hate that, especially when you have to wait for a minute for everything to download, only to find the server is full of cocks. VELLY ANNOYING.
